Our physicians are all board certified in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Although this is a group practice, each patient sees her own physician at each visit unless he/she is out of town or called away by an emergency. We work well together, and our patients benefit from our combined years of clinical experience and training. We assist each other for surgery, cesarean births and advanced laparoscopic procedures. This decreases the risk of complications and increases the likelihood of a good outcome. |

Dr. Stohs is Lincoln's most experienced laparoscopic and gynecologic surgeon. He has presented 7 videos to the prestigious American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists at their annual international meetings. Using the laparoscope helps patients avoid large incisions for hysterectomies and other conditions, such as endometriosis, ectopic tubal pregnancies and ovarian cysts. 65% of hysterectomies in the United States are done with the large abdominal incision, but Dr. Stohs' rate has been under 10% since 1991 when he did Nebraska's first laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH). In 2007, 2008, and 2009 his rate was 0%. Dr. Stohs' surgical patients have come from across the United States and globally.
Dr. Stohs enjoys the camaraderie and cooperation of his physician partners, as well as the office staff, to provide the highest quality of care for his patients.
